The Royal Route is a three-hour walk for anyone who wants to learn about the history of Prague and enjoy the architectural gems built in the times between Gothic period and current days. It leads through the historic centre that is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
The Royal Route starts off by Prašné brány (Powder Gate) on Republiky square leading through Celetna St. to Staroměstské náměstí (Old Town Square), from here it carries on via Karlova ulice (Charles Street) along Charles Bridge to Malostranské náměstí (Lesser Town Square). The last stretch leads from Nerudova St. to Prague Castle.
