Prof Ramodungoane Tabane (PhD) is a registered educational psychologist. He is an Associate Professor and Chair of Department of the Department of Psychology of education at the University of South Africa.  Former chairperson of Society for Educational Psychology of South Africa (SEPSA) a division of Psychological Society of South Africa (PsySSA). Acts as part of the examinations for Professional Board of Psychology (PBP) of the Health Profession Council of South Africa (HPCSA). 

Research interests lie in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD); innovative qualitative research methodologies and cross-cultural psychology. He is a Member Scholar for International Institute for Qualitative Methodology (IIQM). Publications are various articles and book chapters. He also edited a book entitled Educational Psychology and Teaching children about Health (South African Edition); and a Co-author of a book entitled: My Child has ADHD Help!
