Moana Waitoki
Dr Waikaremoana Waitoki
Waikaremoana is from the Ngati Hako, Ngati Mahanga tribe in the central North Island of Aotearoa. She is the President-Elect of the New Zealand Psychological Society. She is a member of the working party of the International Declaration on Competencies in Professional Psychology.
She is former Bicultural Director of the National Standing Committee on Bicultural Issues (New Zealand), and a member of the Asia Pacific Psychology Alliance. As a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Waikato, Waikaremoana focusses her work on Indigenous knowledge and its contributions to wellbeing.
