Dear State of the Art Speakers, Keynote Address presenters, and Participants of ICP2020
Given the unique circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, the IUPsyS and ICP2020 leadership have decided to postpone the 32nd International Congress of Psychology (ICP2020) until 18-23 July 2021 to ensure everyone’s health and safety.
This decision, not taken lightly, is intended to protect the >8000 participants and others involved, under the extraordinary prevailing conditions which our fragile world currently faces.
We have:
This decision has been taken after careful consideration of the unprecedented global circumstances we are all facing to safeguard the health and wellbeing of everyone involved and to ensure that all of you may actively participate at ICP2020 next year. We processed over 8000 quality abstracts covering all fields in psychology, and we are confident that ICP2020 will be a great scholarly as well as social experience. It would be irresponsible if we delayed taking this decision or went ahead with holding ICP2020 as originally planned, as we would be adding to uncertainty and missing participants from territories where the pandemic would still be phase delayed.
Next week we will provide you with the logistical and technical details pertinent to the rescheduling of ICP2020, as we are currently taking all necessary measures to make the change as convenient for you as possible. Meanwhile, please visit our website www.icp2020.com and follow us on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram – ICP 2020) for further information as it becomes available.
We look forward to you joining us in Prague 18-23 July 2021 for the psychology experience of a lifetime!
Sincerely
Stanislav Štech, ICP2020 President
Šárka Dobiášová, ICP2020 Secretary-General
Martina Klicperová, ICP2020 Scientific Committee Chair
and the rest of the ICP2020 Team
